About me
I'm Dr. Nandita Iyer, medical doctor with added qualifications in nutrition and mental health. My health and lifestyle coaching practice blends science-backed strategies with a deep understanding of nutrition, hormones, mental health and the psychology of behaviour change.
Whether you're dealing with weight gain, metabolic disease, low-energy levels or the chaos of perimenopause, my approach is personalised, practical, and rooted in long-term change and not quick fixes.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of medicine, food and lifestyle. My training includes a medical degree (MBBS from Bombay University), Fellowship in Applied Nutrition (Medvarsity, Apollo Hospitals), and Diploma in Community Mental Health (NIMHANS Digital Academy).
I bring this expertise to every coaching session, helping you make informed choices, break free from diet myths and feel empowered in your body and mind.
Since 2006, I’ve been creating content that demystifies wellness through my blog, Saffron Trail, a trusted destination for healthy eating and mindful living. I write a long-running food column in Mint Lounge, and I’ve authored four books on nutrition, food culture and handmade hobbies.
Originally from Mumbai and now based in Bengaluru, I’m also a lifelong learner and Hindustani classical music vocalist.
If you’re looking for a coach who combines science, empathy, and practical tools to support your health journey, I’d love to work with you.
